I'm having trouble installing OS3.5 on my A2000 w/ Prog. Perip. 68040 boardw/2MB
RAM...
I currently run under 3.1 with no problems, however, the OS3.5 CD wants me to do
the pre-install of 3.5 (update to 3.1) and reboot, all is well ubtil the
reboot... it doiesn't reboot unless I add the line "SKIPROMMODULES scsi.device"
to the SETPATCH line in the startup-sequence.
After fixing the line, the system will reboot, but does not allow me to perform
the main installation of OS3.5 .
Of note is the fact that the installation places the WBSTARTUP objects in a
"disabled" directory and the 68040 board does not initialize after the update
install... , however, the scsi controller on the board works fine...
Does anyone have any ideas?
